The new Model 3 is called the refreshed Model 3 by Tesla. Judging from the changes in this new car, it can be called a real generation replacement. The length, width and height of Model 3 are 4720/1848/1442mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2875mm, which is slightly longer than the old model, but the wheelbase is the same, so there is no difference in the actual interior space performance. At the same time, although the lines of the new car do not change when viewed from the side, a new style of 19-inch Nova wheels is available as an option, which will make the car look more three-dimensional visually.

At the rear of the car, Model 3 is equipped with a C-shaped taillight design, which has a good lighting effect. A larger surround is still used under the rear of the car, which has a diffuser-like effect. The key point is to sort out the chassis airflow and improve the stability of the vehicle at high speeds. It is worth noting that Model 3 has launched two new color options, namely starry sky gray and flame red. Moving on, inside the Model 3, we can see that the new car still focuses on a minimalist style, but many of the flagship elements of the Model S/X are used in the details. All functions are integrated into the central control screen, and even the electronic gearbox on the old model has been simplified. The Tesla Model 3's suspended 15.4-inch multimedia touch screen has simple operation logic. Almost all functions can be found in the first-level menu, making it easy to use. In addition, an 8-inch LCD control screen is provided in the rear row and is standard for all series. It can control air conditioning, multimedia and other functions, which is not available in older models.

In addition to configuration, Tesla's intelligent driving has always been the core advantage of its products. Recently, the new Model 3 has been completely upgraded to the HW4.0 chip. Compared with older chips, the computing power of HW4.0 chips has been greatly improved. There have also been many changes in radar and camera sensors. After the ultrasonic radar is cancelled, a completely pure visual intelligent driving solution will be adopted, and more driving assistance functions will be supported. The power aspect has been comprehensively upgraded. To be more precise, the driving control of the entire vehicle has undergone very obvious changes. According to the data, the rear-wheel drive version uses a 3D7 motor with a maximum power of 194kW, acceleration from 0 to 100 seconds in 6.1 seconds, and a CLTC pure electric range of 606km. The long-range all-wheel drive version uses 3D3 and 3D7 front and rear dual motors respectively, with a total motor power of 331kW, acceleration from 0 to 100 seconds in 4.4 seconds, and CLTC pure electric range of 713km. In short, with more power than the old model, the new car also has a longer battery life. At the same time, although the suspension structure has not changed, it is still a front double fork + a rear multi-link. But you can clearly feel that the chassis of the new car is like a sponge, with a "suspension feeling", the driving texture is more advanced, and passengers will also find the new model more comfortable.

Although the refreshed version of Tesla Model 3 is only a mid-term refresh model, and the design may not have changed much, the design concept it reveals is very radical. For example, placing the gear shifting system in the multimedia central control screen is something that most car brands currently dare not imitate rashly.
